I'm a cellist from Canada who's moved to England to experience a new culture and wish to grow as a musician and educator. In my lessons, I aim to create a positive and fun learning environment from fun movement-based warm ups, enhancing enjoyment of technique practice by playing duets, and learning interesting pieces. I believe it's important to listen to what type of music it is the student wants to learn and adapting to each student's needs and different learning styles.
I've been teaching since I was 12 years old- beginning with piano lessons to a neighbour down the road. I have taught over a hundred students between my university music placements in classrooms and had my own private studio where I taught basic piano and cello. Today, I teach privately in London and wish to become a professional music educator.
