Hello! I am a recent Durham University graduate, offering engaging and interactive lessons in English Literature, English Language, History, 11+, Philosophy and Spanish. I am happy to tutor all ages and abilities. My lessons are structured, organised and full of enthusiasm! My experience in working with both primary school children and young offenders means I am unfazed by (most!) teaching challenges and pride myself on being able to get on with people from all backgrounds. If you are looking for an encouraging, motivating and dedicated tutor, get in touch - I would love to hear from you.
My rates would increase if travel was involved, particularly extensive travel. If travelling to London was required, my rate would increase to £35 per hour to cover the cost of trains and other transport.
- 3 years' experience helping mentoring young offenders and helping them with their school work.
- 1 years' experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school.
- I have taught over 15 students to date.
- My biggest achievement was motivating and helping one young offender to apply to a college course to further his future opportunities instead of leaving education in favour of employment.
