Identify the needs of learners and when necessary adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs. Develop and maintain a safe and confidential relationship with tutees and parents. Provide advice and support to tutees in matters related to academic work and students’ personal development. Work with tutees to find appropriate pathways to resolve difficulties.
I grad student work, which allows evaluation of the quality of students' work, level of attainment and progress of students via tests, and homework assignments.
I tutor pupils in key stages 1 to key stage 4 English, Maths and Science up too A-levels. Arranged appropriate teaching materials specific to each student and their preference of teaching style. Identified the needs of learners and when necessary adapted course content and delivery style to meet these needs. Homework was assigned to reinforce the current lesson/lessons being taught. Moreover, a safe and confidential relationship was developed and maintained with tutees and parents. Advice and support was also provided to tutees in matters related to academic work and students’ personal development.
I worked with tutees to find appropriate pathways to resolve difficulties and constantly assessed students' abilities through formal and informal assessments, providing suggestions for improvement and assigning grades. Encouraged individual student progress and monitored disciplinary problems. Additionally a greater focus was assigned to any areas of the relevant course, which was found to be difficult for students.
Parental involvement was used at all times and at the end of each lesson reports were formed to record level of attainment and progress. Additionally an individualized education plan (IEP) was established for each student and his/her progress again discussed with parents.
All my students have achieved at least one grade higher than there level in every subject taught.
