King's College First Class Mathematics Student. Tutoring up to A-Level; Central London.

Tutoring whilst in second year of BSc Mathematics course at King's College London (Placed 21st in QS World University Rankings 2017) - targeting a first class degree.

Whilst my maths has always been on-point, I've nonetheless been to that bad place, having managed to pull myself up three whole A-level biology grades in the space of a week, unaided and whilst retaking all AS biology exams from the previous year. All I had was a gallon of coffee, hard work and a few self devised techniques to maximize the output of each precious hour. If you feel yourself or a person you care about is heading toward that same state of hopelessness and is about to throw away their future to the inevitable, then get in touch before it's too late, I can help.

Believe me, nobody else recovers from worst case scenarios a week before an exam like myself - and even better, if you start now I can ensure that you won't even need to try!

I teach maths, algebra, trigonometry, arithmetic, statistics. For the level(s)primary, secondary, GCSE, as level, a level, BTEC, adult education, undergraduate.
I give lessons in person, at my home or the student's home.
I give lessons by Webcam.

Joshua's Experience

The most important part of this for me is the joy I experience opening up the wonders of mathematics to others; seeing them go through that same range of emotions and awe that led me to development this passion - for which there is no substitute when it comes to succeeding in this often brutal subject.

I have experience tutoring those studying from GCSE to A-level - even whilst still in college myself. The seven students who I have tutored have all gone on to do incredibly well, one of which is now studying mathematics at a Russell Group university herself, four of the others are still in college and the other two are at universities studying different subjects.

How much of my students success is due to me and how much was their own hard work is difficult to say - but those who I've stayed in touch with have often expressed gratitude and even still ask me for help from time to time, which of course I cannot resist.

Joshua's CV

King’s College London BSc Mathematics student; second year. Resourceful, I have the ability and dedication required to pick up new skills, very quickly developing them to a high level. Capable and logical problem solver, especially under pressure; able to find non-obvious solutions to complex problems - I can teach you the tricks needed to become the same.

Believe me, nobody else recovers from worst case scenarios a week before an exam like me - and even better, if you start now I can ensure that you won't need to try.

All being said, the most important part of this for me is the joy I experience opening up the wonders of mathematics to others; seeing them go through that same range of emotions and awe that led me to development this passion - for which there is no substitute when it comes to succeeding in this often brutal subject.
