I teach piano and music theory to all levels (from beginners to advanced students) and also coach chamber music groups. My students should be older than 6 years old. I offer classes of 30, 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the student's needs. As a teacher, I like to work with different methodologies, because each student is unique.

Felipe is a gifted musician and has a wonderful personality for teaching. He is very articulate, explains things clearly, and has a lot of knowledge in the field. One of his more unusual traits is that he started studying piano relatively late, so he can remember how he learned things much better than a pianist who started at the age of five or six. So this helps him explain things effectively. I was his teacher for piano pedagogy -- studying how to be an effective teacher -- and I was impressed with the way he expressed himself in class. He is always friendly and supportive, but he also says what needs to be said, he doesn't just give compliments but also gives excellent constructive feedback. I recommend him highly as a piano teacher.
Felipe is very friendly, outgoing, and very caring. He is an incredible musician with very high level of technique and musicianship. His vast experience in teaching and collaborating with other musicians are some of his greatest assets. He is so well-qualified as a teacher. I strongly recommend Felipe to anyone seeking private piano instruction.
I started studying the piano at age 14 and I have been teaching piano for over 12 years. During these years, I worked specially with intermediate and advanced students, helping them to be accepted in the main conservatories and universities in my country (Brazil).
