Hello! My name is Dimitris, I am a professional musician and I have a BMus (Hons) in Music Performance and Production from London Centre of Contemporary Music and many years of experience and knowledge from private tuition, conservatoirs, choirs, bands and the music industry. I love to share those with my students and show them the way to achieve their goals! All levels and ages are welcome!
If you (or your child) want to improve your singing, experiment with vocal styles, prepare for an audition, be a better performer, learn about music theory, learn how to play the guitar, need advice about how to navigate the music industry, or just want to have some fun, lessons will be tailored to meet the student's needs
There is an extra charge if you want to have the lessons at your home. (usually £5-£10, depending on where you live).

Dimitris is a great teacher. I have been having lessons with him for 4-5 months and have noticed a definite improvement in my voice. (I have actually moved to a different part of London during this time but still come back to Tooting for my weekly lessons!) I have learnt a lot about technique, my range has increased, and I feel much more confident. Dimitris is patient when I make mistakes and strikes a great balance between pushing me to explore different ways of doing things without taking me too far out of my comfort zone too quickly!
Dimitris has a natural talent for teaching. He listens to your needs, he knows always how to respond to any problem and solve it efficiently. He is patient with students and he is a guarantee for results!
I have trained students of all levels and ages. I have students that are adults, looking to prepare themselves in order to start gigging, or they are aiming to get a place in a music college and they are interested in music theory. Others have singing or guitar lessons just for fun or even to be able to sing a surprise song at their wedding! I also teach a 12 year old student music theory and singing and a 4 year old guitar.
Dimitris Panagiotou was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He studied music from a young age, first as a guitarist in the Conservatoire of Northern Greece and later as a vocalist in the Conservatoire of Kalamaria, the State Conservatoire of Greece and Macedonian Conservatoire of Thessaloniki. In 2007, he joined the Mixed Choir of Thessaloniki, expanding his classical repertoire as a baritone/tenor singer, singing in noumerous concerts and operas in Greece and abroad. The same year he formed his own band A Kapela as a singer, guitarist and songwriter, with which he made an EP, won awards in music competitions and toured. Both projects ran until 2011 when he moved to London for further studies, where he started performing with his function band Jukebox among others. In 2014 he finished his BMus with Honours in Music Performance and Production in London Centre of Contemporary Music.
