My teaching method is about acing the exam. The MCAT is a marathon, and there is a specific technique in tackling it that goes beyond the knowledge of scientific concepts. In addition to helping my students target their weaknesses, I advise them on how to overcome the struggles of the exam.
I graduated in 2016 as the valedictorian of Dunwoody High School in Atlanta, Georgia. In high school, I was the captain of the math team and nationally competing academic team, a runner on the state-champion cross country team, and a pianist and violinist. I learned Spanish in school and taught myself Portuguese for fun.
I am a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I am on a full-ride scholarship as a National Merit Scholar. I will graduate magna cum laude this semester with a BS in Neuroscience and minors in Spanish and Business Administration. I will be attending medical school in the fall and have earned a 100th percentile MCAT score.
I spend my free time dancing Latin styles, such as salsa and bachata; playing the piano, violin, and guitar; or attending sorority events. I also enjoy tutoring my classmates for the MCAT and have 4 years of experience in teaching music, math, science, and language!
