Every student is unique and I seek to tailor my teaching style to suit their way of learning. I can create a relaxed, enjoyable but also challenging learning environment for students to maximise their learning potential. Students can inform me of any topics they would like to cover prior to the session, for which I can prepare thorough teaching aids and past paper questions to help them - practice makes perfect! Overall the basic structure involves going over the desired topic and then practice questions, but I am very flexible regarding session structure and will aim to make it suit the student's style of learning.
Hi! I’m Jai and I am 23 years of age studying Medicine in my 4th year at Imperial College London. I am a fun and friendly person looking forward to assist students in their learning. I taught myself AS-level Mathematics and took the exam one-year early, and this made me value and appreciate the importance of having someone to provide support and share knowledge with, which I believe is central to tutoring. Having planned and delivered lectures explaining medical concepts and teaching examination skills, this experience enables me to structure sessions appropriately and tailor my teaching style and content as to challenge students in a relaxed learning environment to maximise their potential. This has gained positive feedback and improved student's confidence in subjects which are otherwise challenging.
