The teaching methodology that I cannot cease from keep exploring, is called "outdoor education". It may sound a method heavily relying on physical aspects, but I now try as much as possible to apply it online too :)
Ideally, the lesson structure combines a combination of settings, depending your needs and ideas you may try to approach/ concepts to understand/ understanding to achieve. We may well start with Zoom as a starting point, but end up photographing stimulating objects which bring about more on the topic of our conversation.
In education, everything is useful and imagination helps a lot!
Trust and enthusiasm are necessary material to achieve our goals together.

My name is Aristea and I am an independent academic and practitioner in the realm of Education. All my studies (BA/ MSc/ MRes/ PhD/ Post-doc) have been in education and various aspects of it, although my expertise is the very innovative approach of Outdoor Environmental Education and Outdoor Life. I would love to help you as much as I can! I conducted my research/ studies in Greece (BA), Sweden (MSc), Scotland (MRes & PhD) and Switzerland (Post-doc internship), hence I have an understanding of a quite international agenda when talking about national curricula, etc.
I call my service as "coaching" here, simply because the kind of help you may need varies.
Would you like some help with ideas on a pedagogical essay? Preparation for some exams on a particular course? Deciding what course may give the most suitable direction for your personal interests?
I would love to hear from you and help you go through this journey.
Teaching languages needs more than ‘language knowledge’, teaching methodology is also crucial. What I loved about Aristea was that her teaching was systematic, constructive, creative, encouraging and fun! She was also very attentive and caring which helped me walk through language boundaries to new horizons. I was very lucky to be her student :)
Aristea's engaging and lively personality, together with her lengthily experiences in teaching Greek, makes her an excellent tutor. Her playful but professional way of teaching is refreshing and ensures results. I thoroughly enjoy Green & Greek and highly recommend others to take classes from Aristea.
I know Aristea as a Greek teacher for several years. I can honestly say that she is one of the most passionate and educated teacher who I have ever known. She knows different methods of teaching and learning to meet her students' needs and expectations. She combines creativity to her sessions which have always amuses me . It is indeed hard to find this kind of teacher who has a higher degree in Education, and experience of teaching greek to speakers of other languages with so many integrated skills and talent.
Aristea has now taught me modern Greek for 4years, while she was in the UK. She has proved to be an excellent teacher , clear and interesting in her teaching method. She is also encouraging and positive, which are very important characteristics for teachers.
I would certainly recommend Aristea if the student is wanting to learn Greek and especially if wanting to be able to communicate with Greeks.
