I believe that passion is the most important element in successful learning because when you have fun playing and practicing, you do it a lot, and practice makes perfect.
With this in mind we can discuss the kind of curriculum you would like to follow - some people may prefer a more structured approach, using the "rock school" grades for guitar and bass or we can follow a more casual approach, where we will work towards playing your favourite songs as well as learning some theory and improvisation techniques.
I am a gigging musician and multi instrumentalist (guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, piano, vocals, harmonica) that wants to pass on my passion for music to budding musicians of any age (I have a lot of experience with younger kids through my time as a beaver scout leader but I wouldn't suggest lessons, other than maybe ukulele, for anyone under 8).
I currently play bass, guitar and sing in an alt rock band called Lucid Hound if you want to look us up: (concealed information)
I can teach acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass or ukulele up to grade 6.
I can take more than one person per lesson for no extra cost but bare in mind each individual will get slightly less attention.

Superprof can also suggest electric guitar lessons to help you.
Learning isn't a problem, acoustic guitar lessons for all!
Taking bass guitar lessons has never been easier: you're going to learn new skills.
