First free lesson will be up to a half hour chat to gauge what you hope to achieve from our sessions.
I am a warm yet authoritative tutor who will always work flexibly with each individual, gleaning what areas to hone and focus on as we continue our exploration together.
I use various techniques as and when appropriate such as Alexander, Meisner, Chekhov and Stanislavsky.
My aim is always to help a pupil find ‘the truth’; to speak as if they are speaking for the first time with sincerity and dexterity.
I am a RADA graduate and experienced tutor with both ongoing acting experience in film and theatre as well as a long history of working with young people and adults to achieve their goals.
I have taught at RADA and The BRIT School as well as on other weekend and and half term courses for various performance academies.
I also help on the RADA first round audition panel and can advise and work on monologues for the day.
I have had a number of private students who have gone on to be accepted on to courses and have flourished in their approach to text, voice, movement and the audition scenario.
24 hour cancellation policy- no refund as I may have had to turn down other work to accommodate.
Before 24 hours- full refund.
I am happy to travel and may be able to book rooms in a middle ground at a small fee if this were more convenient. I am happy to be flexible and do the easiest by you.
Being able to work face to face is always best as so much more can be gleaned about the performer so I will always try to work to manage that.

Perfect! An excellent tutor who has an warm, understanding and friendly approach in exploring texts and really making you understand them. Sabi really brings your monologues alive by working in depth on several aspects including your voice, body and the text. I highly recommend Sabi to anyone auditioning for drama school or just looking for acting coaching by a great tutor.
Taj Is an enthusiastic, ready and willing student. He has a uniqueness that will serve him well moving forward. I also greatly admire his commitment to the social work that he does outside of his acting and this, I feel, feeds his attitude and talent in a way that is very special to him.
Sabi is a confident, warm and kind person with a passion for helping others. She's a great people person and easily bonds with people of all ages. She also has a high level of professionalism and is extremely reliable. I can't think of a better person to tutor others.
