Since her solo debut at the age of eleven, Ada's career has seen her perform widely in her homes of London and Poland in a broad range of styles. She performs all music from baroque to contemporary and is no stranger to the modern or period violin having performed with the Gabrieli Consort, The English Concert, Wroclaw Baroque Orchestra and Florilegium to name a few. Since then she has performed in such venues as Buckingham Palace, the Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Centre, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Cadogan Hall, St John's Smith Square, National Portrait Gallery, the Royal Albert Hall, Palazzo Pallavicini-Rospigliosi, Gothenburg Concert Hall and National Forum of Music in Wrocław, amongst others.
She has won several prizes at international violin competitions, including an Honourable Mention at the Greater Poland Music Competition and at the Polish Forum of Young Instrumentalists. - What kind of experience do you have?
Music has been my life's passion. Certainly I have always been very keen to experience new opportunities, but it was not until I began teaching that I realised that this is what I most enjoy in music. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a child gain new skills, or the enjoyment that results from mastering a new piece, a new technique, a new style or playing with others.
From the very beginning a teacher's encourage is crucial. I consider myself lucky that I have studied under some great teachers, and now I see it as my duty to pass on this inspiration to the next generation.
I have gained my experience with:
The Strings Club (ongoing) where I work as a Violin Course Leader and a Venue Manager for the Greenwich area.
Questors Young Musicians Club (2016-2017) where I have been teaching children of all ages and preparing them for ABRMS exams and school concerts.
Do-re-mi babies with whom I have co-lead concerts aimed at parents with young children under 5's (ongoing)
The Square School in London (2015-2016) where I have been teaching music
Explore Languages – language school (2014-2015) where I have taught Polish language children 4 - 11 years old
ESTA's Pathways in Teaching and The Sound Connections project training (2013-2014)
RCM Junior Department – Museum children's event: spoken presentation and demonstration how the violin has changed over the time (2014)
RCM Sparks - Turtle Song which was a partnership project with Turtle Key Arts and English Touring Opera. It brought music, movement and singing to people with memory problems and their carers. (2014)
St Mary Abbots School in London – working with Year 4 children (2014)
