Learning to play the piano should be a pleasure, that's why I make sure the lessons are informative and motivating yet stress-free and fun at the same time.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach piano and music theory.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I started to play the piano at the age of six and a year later, after a successful audition to the state music school in Kielce, Poland, I commenced twelve years of musical education that included music theory and history, classical piano, flute and cello. Alongside my passion for music I also love English Literature which I took to the Master level.
- How much do you charge?
£25 for a 60 minute lesson £12.50 for a 30 minute lesson. In the first block of five I offer one free lesson.
- Where do you teach?
I teach in two locations: Swindon and Lyneham, Wiltshire.
- When are you available?
I am available on weekdays, Saturdays and school holidays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and levels from beginners to advanced and from six years of age onwards. However, I would consider teaching a child who is younger than six, provided that their attention span is good (enough to stay focused for 20 minutes) and they are interested in learning to play the piano.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Grade exams, GCSE, A-levels
- Do you have a personal message for students?
We are all born musical, for music is inherent to humanity. Music can soothe, relax, calm, energize, uplift and motivate. It can even enhance higher brain function. Being able to play and relive the emotions contained in musical pieces can be exceedingly inspiring; and capturing your own passions in an original composition or improvisation, even more so. And the beauty of it is that everybody can learn to play an instrument. I love teaching piano because I have a great passion for music. To me, each student is an individual with their individual needs and pace at which they progress. Thus the lessons are fun and stress-free, yet informative and motivating at the same time. For children, I always make notes in their notebooks after each lesson to give them structure and to let parents know what stage they are at.
Adriana is one of our best tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been a piano teacher for the past five years (alongside my career in marketing and creative writing) and for the past two years (since my daughter was born) I have been teaching full time.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Yes, I belong to the Musician's Union and I am an approved teacher by Swindon Music Service.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently teach an array of students, many of them children (including a very talented 4 year-old); but equally as many adults ranging from those in their twenties to those in their sixties. And it goes to prove that it is never too late to start learning to play a musical instrument and that one can always find a good reason to begin - whether it is to keep your mind active or to gain a new skill. Some of my students concentrate on grade exams whilst others learn for their own enjoyment. I also teach a few composers, which is a great pleasure as I compose myself.

I've been having lessons with Adriana for the past 5 months and have found her teaching to be very efficient and enjoyable. She is an enthusiastic and very encouraging teacher. I would recommend Adriana to anyone wishing to learn to play the piano.
Adriana is extremely talented in both playing and teaching the piano. It is a pleasure every lesson.
My daughter enjoys piano lessons with Adriana and has learnt a lot very quickly. Adriana seems very warm and kind but also firm - a good balance
