I basically make the students to focus the key words in each paragraph of book for understanding the whole scenario in the chapter.
As soon as these new terms began get familiar with the students then I demonstrate them the experiments and concepts.
The scientific terms are first decoded by there origin and once the meaning is known the words are easy to remember.
For physics I basically start with day to day example of the phenomenon which is going to be start point of my topic.
Next I check what the students imagine once they answer it wether true or false , I know that there interest has been drawn then I correct them and concepts are explained.
Then numericals are solved.
A bunch of questions are put forth.
