Personal statement
A hard-working and caring individual with much experience working autonomously and as a team. Over three years of experience as a Lifeguard and 8 months experience in customer service in a pub/restaurant with experience in tutoring around these jobs. I am dedicated to giving customers a pleasant experience by attending to any needs they may have and keeping up expected standards of a work place.
I am currently studying at Brighton university for a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and am looking for part-time work.

Achievements and responsibilities:

For this Job, I had to achieve the National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ) in order to lifeguard in the UK. I worked for this company for over three years where I had to make sure that the pools were being used safely by the public, keep all areas of the building clean and presentable and set up any events or activities for members of the public and clubs. Over these years I have also had to take on the role of Team Leader whereby I had to delegate jobs and responsibilities to other team members in order for all events to go smoothly and for standard to be kept up.

Achievements and responsibilities:

In this company, I was able to carry out numerous roles and learn many skills. The first area I worked in was behind the bar where I learnt how to pour drinks to a professional standard, take stock checks, keep the appearance up and keep customers entertained while waiting for a table. I also worked as a waiter where I learnt a lot about customer service and how to take orders efficiently. Finally, I worked as the host, this role was by the main door and had to greet all customers on their entrance into the pub and make sure that all colleagues are aware of their presence so that they have the most enjoyable experience possible.

Achievements and responsibilities:

In this business I have learnt how to decorate a whole house including painting to a professional standard, wall papering, and making good on damages to a property. I have also assisted in fitting many kitchens and bathrooms where I have been taught to fit all kinds of kitchen units to a certain plan and to tile whole walls and floors. During this time, I have also undertaken jobs where I have had to demonstrate simple plumbing and carpentry.
