My teaching method is to ensure they my students understand the basics of the topic by showing examples and then allow them to demonstrate this knowledge with questions. I then go through more difficult questions with them and then allow them to do these on there own.

For the last 3 years of High School/Sixth Form i volunteered teaching year 9 set 7 mathematics. I found this to be very rewarding as it helped me develop the expertise needed to be able to teach challenging subjects to students in many different ways and establish relationships with each pupil to help the grow.
In the summer of 2017 I volunteered in Ghana for two weeks teaching in a girls’ school and helping locals construct and decorate the school. This empowering experience allowed me to enhance my ability to solve problems and lead a group of people in situations I had never dealt with before.
Hobbies and Interests:
I am a keen reader, enjoying both fiction and non-fiction books as I am enthusiastic to be constantly learning new information and to expand my mind. Cross words, Sudoku and other puzzles are another way I spend my spare time.
I also have a major interest in drama and musical theatre which has led to several main roles in multiple productions at school (Killer Queen in the recent performance of We Will Rock You), at my drama group, and in the Musical Theatre Society at University. These roles enabled me to improve my confidence, ability to perform under pressure and allowed me to thrive in an environment where expectations of me were high.
Performing in shows and concerts alongside school has required a great deal of dedication, time, and effort and I have used both my organisational and time management skills to prohibit my extra-curricular activities from having a negative effect on my studies. This has also greatly improved my attention to detail and my team working abilities for use in my school life and in my future career.
