As well as my own experience as a professional performer, I have taught in a variety of contexts for nearly a decade. I have experience of working with both children and adults, and my teaching experience has ranged from giving individual lessons in piano and singing to teaching full class musicianship lessons and leading choirs, with ages ranging from early years groups to older adults. Current and previous employers include North Ayrshire and Renfrewshire Councils, the National Youth Choir of Scotland, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Junior Chorus, Tameside Music Service, Stockport School, Altrincham Preparatory School, and 'I Perform' Theatre School. I am also additionally trained and experienced in working with individuals with special educational needs. I also work all over the country as an animateur, working in schools, hospitals and care homes with organisations such as Jessie's Fund, and develop and deliver outreach projects for organisations including Cheshire East council and Leeds Lieder.
