- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach all primary subjects and English, Drama and PE up to GCSE. I also coach martial arts/self defence (for all ages) in addition to Zen Meditation and Reiki (master).
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I am a fully qualified teacher BA Ed Hon (QTS) and member of the General Teaching Council (GTC). I am also a 3rd Dan blackbelt in Shorinji Kempo ((concealed information) and a Reiki Master.
- How much do you charge?
£30 p/h for KS2 all else would be £35 p/h. Group sessions £25 p/h KS2, all else £30. Travel costs at the client's discretion. Initial consultation, no charge.
- Where do you teach?
I am happy to teach at the client's home if this is more convenient (having two small children myself it may be less noisy!). At the same time, I am just as comfortable teaching in my own home if necessary. I live in Warwick, so the surrounding area of Stratford, Worcester, Birmingham, Bromsgrove are all possible. I am happy to travel to Oxford, but this may incur greater costs.
- When are you available?
School holidays and weekends are negotiable. At present all evenings are free apart from Mondays when I coach martial arts in Oxford.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
Potentially all ages, depending upon requirements. At present I am teaching KS2 and 3 in several Bromsgrove Middle Schools.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught in both the maintained and independent sectors, as well as teaching abroad (Japan). I have been Head of Department in both Drama and Physical Education. In addition, I have always coached extra-curricular teams and had many students attain sports scholarships at Common Entrance (CE).
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I have an Enhanced CRB certificate from November 2009.

I am a member of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL), Physical Education Association (PEA), Association of Rugby Coaches (ARC) and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS).
