As a performer I have performed with the Halle Orchestra; Manchester Camerata and the National Festival Orchestra as well as many brass bands, including Brighouse and Rastrick; Grimethorpe Colliery; Leyland and Williams Fairey. I am also a member of an award winning Brass Quintet and the UK's first Brass Dubstep band "Hot Botz Brass Band". As a young musician I played in Wigan and Bolton Music Service ensembles, St Helens Youth Brass Band, Halle Youth Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
