My teaching methodology is that a good teacher is one that shows you were to look, but doesn't tell you what you see. I would work mainly with the flipped classroom method, encouraging my pupils to take responsibility for a subject they are struggling in and grow a love for it outside of my teaching. Curiosity is a main driver of learning. I feel going through questions step but step with support and taking down the information in new creative ways that I have knowledge on, really improves grades and doesn't make it seem like revision.
I studying English at one of the best ranked sixth forms in the UK after studying effectively for my GCSE's, I have up to date knowledge on the exams and content having been in the first set of students to sit the 9-1 system for English and Maths. I am passionate about this subject and offer an approachable and relaxed teaching style which has proved effective with my colleagues.

I enjoy writing for my college newspaper, The Phoenix and in my spare time enjoy writing creatively. I also enjoy horse riding, which I have been committed to for 8 years. I am extremely interested in photography and Japanese culture. I love reading and learning wherever possible.
I am very confident, helpful and committed to whatever I undertake. People have often commented on my politeness, humour, and positive attitude. I am flexible in team situations and have a passion to learn anything and everything about my job placement. I am a real ‘people person’ and I am enthusiastic towards challenges sent my way.
