I am an experienced music teacher and tutor, and piano and keyboard teacher. I listen carefully to what you require and tailor my lessons accordingly. All ages, levels and abilities welcome, for exams or pleasure. I travel to your home.

I teach Music GCSE and A Level. I also teach piano, jazz piano and electronic keyboard, musicianship and music theory.

I have a BA Honours degree in Music, and a PGCE in Education.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £30ph, and can offer discounts for block bookings.
- Where do you teach?
I am a travelling teacher and teach you in your home. I cover Tunbridge Wells, Pembury and nearby villages.
- When are you available?
I am available weekdays, including mornings and evenings.

From age 5, no upper ages limit.

Music GCSE, Music A Level, Piano Grades 1 to 8 ABRSM, Trinity and LCM, Jazz Piano ABRSM and LCM, Electronic Keyboard Trinity and LCM, Music Theory and Musicianship all exam Boards.

I listen to your preferences and needs and tailor my lessons accordingly. I enjoy teaching a diverse and varied group of students from different backgrounds, including those with learning difficulties and Aspergers, students who want to play and learn for personal enjoyment, and those who want a career in music.
- What kind of experience do you have?
5 years of tutoring for Music GCSE and A Level which has helped pupils gain success in their exams. 30 years teaching piano to all ages, levels and abilities - for exams, festivals or personal enjoyment. Past and present students include those who have followed a career in music, and pupils with Aspergers and learning difficulties, who have found great benefit from learning to play the piano or keyboard.

- Tell me about some of your current students.
My current students are very varied in age, interests and abilities, and this ensures I stay up to date with a wide diversity of subjects. Some school age and adult pupils prefer to work systematically through the piano or keyboard grades, whilst others prefer to learn in a more relaxed way and choose all their repertoire. A number of students are studying towards theory or musicianship exams , as well as revising for GCSE. Everyone who has an interest in studying music , piano and keyboard are welcome.
