Over 8 years of singing teaching experience and I'm passionate about facilitating vocal transformation. It can be nerve-racking to sing in front of someone for the first time so it is my job to keep lessons relaxed and fun whilst you gain confidence and we work towards your own, personal vocal goals.
Each voice is beautifully unique and personal and sometimes for one reason or another we may have stopped singing. That could be because we have busy schedules now and we used to love it but no longer can prioritise, or perhaps we've got a hang up or blockage around our voice. This may manifest itself as anxiety when singing in front of others, vocal breaks, lack of confidence, not being able to sing out etc. All of the above can lead to certain tensions in the body which can stop the voice from truly resonating. It may even be affecting your speaking voice as well as your singing voice (!) If this has been a problem for you, I will help to guide you to release these tensions, to connect with your true voice and to build a stable singing technique foundation.
A bit more about me is that I was classically trained and studied jazz vocals at The Guildhall whilst touring globally and teaching extended vocal technique workshops with all-female beatbox group, The Boxettes. Since then, I've worked extensively with a wide range of people from children to adults and professionals and what I have seen across the board have not only been wonderful vocal transformations but also huge shifts in confidence and well-being. This is why I love my job :)

Hello and thank you for stopping by,
There's nothing more rewarding for me than seeing the huge and rapid shifts that my students go through. Although I studied at some of the top UK conservatoires I had a lot of problems with my voice so I spent many years researching in to different techniques for vocal freedom. I believe it's due to this journey that I'm able to successfully guide my students in their own development in a way that feels quick, easy and fun.
