- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Bachelor of Music with Honours (BMus(Hons)) First Class and Masters of Performance in Orchestral Performance with Distinction both from the Royal College of Music, London.
- How much do you charge?
£35 per hour
45 and 30 minute rates can be arranged
- Where do you teach?
I usually will go and teach at students' homes and am available to teach in central London (zones 1-3) and South/West London
- When are you available?
I am generally quite flexible and can try to accommodate to when it is most convenient for the student
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
For oboe from the age of seven with no age limit from complete beginner to post-grade 8
For recorder from the age of six
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I usually prepare my students for ABRSM examinations, but am open to other exam boards as well. Am able to also prepare students for music festivals and music scholarship entrance auditions.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I am extremely passionate about music and want to pass my knowledge and love of music to others. I think it is a great skill to be able to play a musical musical instrument. I like to tailor my lessons to each individual student as everyone has a different way of learning things and like to set achievable goals in order to make lessons as enjoyable as possible.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching across London for the past eight years teaching people from the ages of eight to 66 and preparing students for examinations to a good success rate.
I am also deputy teacher at Hackney Youth Orchestra Saturday School and at Ealing Junior Music School.

- Where and with whom did you train?
I studied under the tutelage of Nicholas Daniel before winning a place to Chetham's School of Music where I studied with Valerie Taylor. I then went onto the Royal College of Music in London for my undergraduate studying with Christopher Cowie, David Theodore and Gareth Hulse. I subsequently decided to stay for a postgraduate at RCM under the tutelage of John Anderson. During my postgraduate I also took part on an Erasmus exchange to the Staaliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart, Germany studying with Christian Schmitt. I am also an active chamber musician, playing with the Armartis ensemble ((concealed information) and have had experience playing professionally with orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Ballet Sinfonia and Royal Scottish National Orchestra. I recently just finished a year playing with Southbank Sinfonia as the co-principal oboe.
