- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been teaching the violin for 6 years. I am particularly experienced in working with children, ranging from young beginners to more advanced. I also have collaborated with various outreach groups such as 'Impulse' from the Purcell School of Music and 'Sparks' from the Royal College of Music, which work with children from primary schools and encourage them to participate in musical activities. As both my parents are violin professors themselves, I have been involved in this world since I was very little and I have a very high knowledge of teaching methods.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
No, but can be done if requested.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I graduated from Chetham's School of Music in Manchester under the tuition of Professor Jan Repko, with whom I also graduated from the Royal College of Music in London. Feel free to view my full profile and read my CV and listen to some of my audios.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
I have a class of pupils that have passed ABRSM exams with distinctions and merits and have been accepted into a variety of music schools in London including the junior departments of the London concervatoires. I like to encourage ensemble playing with my pupils and I regularly organize concerts to provide them with the optional opportunity to perform in front of an audience.
Martin and I would like to thank you one more time for your all your time and patience; Ella is absolutely loving your lessons and we are happy to see her progress week after week and the motivation and inspiration that you give her.
