- How much do you charge?

£40/hr, £45/hr for house calls.

- Where do you teach?

I mostly call at students' homes in South London but am also willing to receive students at my home in Clapham. Willing to travel within London.

- When are you available?

My schedule is very flexible, Mon.-Sat.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

Age 8 - adult.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

ABRSM, GCSE exams.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

Music should be something you enjoy. Yes, you will have to practise if you want to make progress, and sometimes it's hard work. But I can help you make the best use of your time by learning how to practise efficiently.

Experience

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have taught piano privately since 1995, and I was deputy faculty from 1998-2000 at the University of Houston Prep&Continuing Studies Programme. I am continuing as a fellow at the Guildhall School of Music, where my responsibilities have included coaching undergraduate pianists; and I regularly give public classes/clinics, most recently at HSPVA (Houston), Lake District Summer Music Festival, Southampton Music Svcs., etc.
