- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I believe that music is about having fun. There are many important things like theory and technique to understand and master but these serve the music. The most important thing about learning an instrument or a musical dicipline is that you enjoy it. In all my lessons I strive to strike a healthy balance between hard work on technique and theory, and learning to explore the chosen subject's capabilities and enjoying the feeling of music. What ever the age or ability this is something which I see as extremely important in encouraging a student not just to progress for a little, but for life as well.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I am a French Horn player at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I was principal horn in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for 3 years and I freelance with many different orchestras and groups across London. I currently teach three private horn students and have taught all over London over the last 2 years.
