My teaching method is flexible and student-focused. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and want my tutoring sessions to complement what you are learning at school or university rather than being like another lesson or lecture. Learning should be fun, and I make sure to keep my lessons interesting and interactive. I am a confident, hard-working, and friendly guy and go out of my way to do the best for my students!
Group sessions tend to be 'tutorial style' with open discussions and debate on issues. I will generally set a couple of pieces of reading in advance to help people prepare - this is especially useful for A Level students looking for a more interactive and university-style approach to learning.
I graduated from the University of St Andrews with a First Class degree in International Relations in 2017. Since then, I have worked at the Foreign Office and offered tutoring in politics and related subjects to students from a variety of backgrounds and at various educational levels.
