I am an experienced actor, theatre maker and educator, with over 10 years experience teaching young children, teenagers and adults in voice, improvisation, acting technique (stage and screen), audition technique and public speaking.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I specialise in audition technique and voice coaching and assist with school drama assessments, drama school auditions and auditions for stage and screen. I also teach both LAMDA and Trinity Guildhall curriculums.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I studied at The Actors Workshop in Australia, where upon graduating, I was invited to stay on in a teaching capacity in the areas of Voice and Phonetics. I relocated to London where I completed a Masters Degree in Ensemble Theatre at Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance where I was the recipient of the Rose Bruford International Scholarship. I also hold the ATCL speech and drama teaching qualification from Trinity Guildhall, being awarded a First and the Maggie Lovejoy Award.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £40 per hour, and am happy to travel to most areas within Greater London, but some areas may incur an additional travel fee.
- Where do you teach?
My teaching location is flexible. I can travel to your home or you can come to me. I am also available on Skype depending on the material. I am situated in southeast London but am willing to travel. I currently have students from Finchley down to Sidcup.
- When are you available?
I am flexible with availability and can adapt to suit your needs. I work weekdays, evenings and weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students of all ages, children and adults alike. I currently work with the Rose Bruford Youth Theatre, where my youngest student is 4.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught across a variety of settings. These include higher education; primary and high schools; school holiday workshops; corporate workshops and private tuition. I pride myself in my ability to adapt to continually changing environments and enjoy watching performers of all ages and ability grow and learn. I spent several years as head of Voice at The Actors Workshop in Australia, and currently have students undertaking A-Levels and drama school auditions. In addition to my teaching experience and qualifications, I was Artistic Director of heartBeast Theatre, and I have worked as both an actor and director.
