My approach is to find musicality in all levels of ability, and to make learning fun and enjoyable for all ages from beginners to advanced.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I offer violin, viola and chamber lessons in Hackney E5 (East London), and violin and viola lessons via Skype. Whether you have specific technical difficulties, would like to prepare for exams, or just want to learn and explore music for the joy of it, lessons can be tailored to your needs. Tuition for chamber groups focuses on all aspects of ensemble, developing techniques and exercises to create a blended and balanced group.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Master of music studies (completed on viola) from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. I also have a Bachelor of Music specialising in Performance (completed half on violin and half on viola), and have completed a fellowship course with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £35 per hour lesson for violin and viola lessons, and £20 per half hour. For chamber groups I charge £50 per hour.
Please contact me for lessons charges via Skype.
