- Do you have a personal message for students?
Learning the guitar is one of the most rewarding things I ever did when my dad suggested we do it together many years ago. I love to share my passion for the guitar and music to new students - and it's never too late to learn!
For those looking for an English tutor or work on their accent or public speaking, I have a proven track record of getting students to improve. I take care to make sure they clearly understand the foundations of their subject and so can think for themselves and use the tools I offer to be self-sufficient.
- What kind of experience do you have?
17 years of guitar playing. I play lead guitar, as well as some bass and rhythm guitar in a 4-piece rock band. I regularly play as an actor-musician in plays which require music and singing.
I have taught guitar for about 6 years to children and adults alike.
I've taught English up to GCSE to children and mature students with a track record of improving grades.
My work with students on accents, phonetics and public speaking has included running workshops of up to 15 people, as well as marked improvements in the speech of various kinds of professionals.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes, as of 2016

I was taught guitar by a teacher for around 7 years from the age of 13.
I trained in acting, voice and speech at Drama Studio London, an accredited drama school.

My current students include a singer-songwriter looking to improve his guitar technique and knowledge of chords. I'm also teaching a businessman from the Caribbean to soften his accent to a more neutral English sound. Both are making excellent progress.
