I teach Archaeology, Ancient History and Classical Civilisation to GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate students. I am also happy to teach younger children and adults who have an interest in these subjects but are not necessarily studying for a particular qualification. I teach through a variety of methods - reading, listening, watching, talking and doing - to enable students with a range of learning styles to reach their full potential and gear lessons to suit the individual.
I have experience of teaching all ages, from 5 years to 80 years! I have taught over the past 18 years with Derbyshire County Council, Birmingham City Council and the University of Derby in schools, FE colleges and Adult Education and am now beginning 1-1 tutoring. My latest 1-1 student is now starting his undergraduate degree after achieving A levels in Classical Civilisation and Ancient History.
