As a creative student studying Architecture, much of what I do/teach requires “hands on” learning. Depending on ones performance, I can tailor or focus on specifics based on the feedback I get. At the very least, I ensure my students receive a good understanding of the fundamentals and basics of Fencing before elaborating on increasingly complex lessons. For younger students, I tend to initially emphasise on the “cool” nature of the sport, capturing their interests before developing their skills to guarantee a diligent and fun work ethic.
