01
When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
Well I developed interest in tutoring when I was in my final years of GCSE's. My teachers would ask me to help students revise certain topics that satisfaction I used to get was on another level. I would never forget the first student I taught.
02
Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I teach Physics and Mathematics primarily to GCSE and A-level students; the topics that until this day gives me goosebumps and excites me are calculus and Quantum Mechanics. As a student I never tend to like Biology drawing different organs diagrams; memorization of different key parts was never easy.
03
What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
One of the key values of tutors are "patience" experience is what they say brings patience; I think, it's more of a virtue developed by choice. If you choose to become a tutor, learning to be patient is the first baby step you must take.
a tutor should be Flexible; he should be able to adjust to changes if needed to made. He can quickly adapt to new changes.
Another significant trait is Communication skills. An effective tutor is the one who can convey subject expertise in a lucid, understandable form to the students. Good communication includes it all - speech, clarity, use of appreciation, gestures, etc.
Everyone not just tutors should be "Self-disciplined". Students you teach they view you as a role model you need to be on time; show respect towards your students and you should have a well planned lesson.04
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
In maths the one thing i would say is your best friend is practice. The more you practice the better your concepts will be. Doing a variety of questions gives you an idea what to actually expect in an exam. Try to memorize the formulas on fingertips before attempting papers.
05
What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
The only difficulty you face sometime is when students they lack self belief in themselves.
06
Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?
At this point if i say teaching is not my passion I would be lying. It is one of the best things i got to do with my life. Other than this I am a professional front end Web Developer.

What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P) ?
No-one is perfect certainly not me there is always something you can improve; but so far this opportunity that i got to see my students getting A*s and As have given me pleasant experience. Even If i have a small role in improving my students grade i think this is what makes me superprof.
