Ciao! I have taught Italian in Paris for a whole year and Spanish and English for a few months when I was in Italy. I love languages and I always strive to learn new ones - I am currently working on my Polish. I believe that once you start learning a language that will be your oyster to travel through cultures and not only countries. Therefore, my teaching methodology varies according to the student's goals and their levels. I usually provide tailored classes that also entail conversational topics of interest for both parties such as cooking, sport, art, poetry and more. An example of a beginner's class will focus on a grammar rule and its usage in informal or formal conversations by also focussing on cultural references to better understand the country and its costumes.
I am a final year Art History and languages student at the University of Essex and I have been giving Italian lessons for a year in Paris. I have had two beginner students that have now reached their desired B2 level, approaching a C1 level at a fast pace. Though their interests were diverse, I managed to tailor each course to the students' needs. My passion for languages do not end to Italian, Spanish, English or Polish but I am also fluent in French and studied Mandarin, Arabic (though I don't master those languages) and tried to study Polish and Lithuanian by myself.
