I teach art and design at various levels, from intermediate hobbyist to Degree and beyond. I have a fluid and relaxed approach to teaching; I want to help my students build confidence through creativity. My lessons differ from student to student based on skill level, interests and personality.
I can cover a broad range of skills including (but not limited to); drawing from life, painting (acrylic, gouache and watercolour), illustration, collage and embroidery. I love to help with GCSE and A-level coursework and portfolios.
I specialise in essential presentation skills such as effective sketchbook use and building a glorious portfolio. I also teach techniques to generate ideas and summon up your personal creative genius!
I have a degree in Theatre Design and I write and teach a course in puppetry and prop making in London. I love working with students who don’t believe they can be creative and watching them achieve amazing results.
I am patient, adaptable and relaxed. I believe in the healing power of creativity and art.
I have a distinction grade National Diploma in fine art and design and a 2:1 Degree in Theatre design from Nottingham Trent University.
