My teaching method is to guide students through their exploration on what intrigues them, always basing what we do in research so they can create more original ideas. During class we will experiment with different techniques and fun drawing exercises that will stimulate creativity and sharpen their skills.
The classes will be adapted to the students goal, wether it is creating an interesting and appealing portfolio, learning new ways of making art, drawing in situ, doing portraits, using art as therapy, etc. I know that each creative mind works in its own way and will look after each persons own process.
I'm a photography student that has also studied audiovisual communication, focused on animation, and have an IB diploma focused on visual arts. I've been tutoring students individually and in groups of 10 (on average) for 5 years, guiding them through research and experimentation with new mediums in order for them to learn more about themselves, and so to be able to express themselves more freely through art. In these 5 years of tutoring I have helped my students achieve their goal of earning a high score in their arts courses in the IB diploma and to create great portfolios for their university applications.
No cancellation policy for class cancelations in case the notice is due 24 hours before the class.
I’m a photography student currently studying at the University for the Creative Arts. My love and passion for the arts started when I was 14 years old and have since enjoyed sharing it with others. Throughout school I would be dedicated to guiding others in their own artistic and experimental processes, always having in mind that each creative mind works in its own unique way. I have had the chance of working with people of various ages with widely different opinions on what art is, and have learned to enjoy and find the way to work with each one of them.
Education: 2017 - present
-2017, I graduated from the Mayor de los Andes school in Cajicá, Colombia, with an IB diploma focused on arts and literature.
-2018, After graduating I decided to focus on art, working on a personal portfolio and collaborating with the school I graduated from by helping guide the students in the arts course with their own projects.
-2019, January, I started my university studies at Universidad de La Sabana in Chia, Colombia, where I did a semester of Audiovisual Communication, focused towards animation.
-2019, September, I moved to England and started university studies at the University for the Creative Arts, where I am currently studying Photography.
At school, as being part of the arts group, I was constantly asked by teachers to help tutor other students through their artistic processes, wether it was helping them with techniques, research or to create new ways of expressing themselves through art. Then, in my first university I made part of 'study groups' where we helped students struggling with the 'drawing and graphical expression' class. In both these cases I have worked with individual students and groups of about 10 students.
