Get in touch if you need some tuition in Biology, Chemistry or Maths: whether it be for a one-off session, help with a past paper or going over a whole course!
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Chemistry & Maths up to A2-level and Biology up to Undergraduate level.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
Studying locally in Manchester for my GCSE's and A-level, I achieved the following grades:
4 A's at A2-level in:
Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics & General Studies
6A*'s, 2A's, 2B's at GCSE Level
Following this, I studied Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. After 2 years however, I switched over to studying Biological Sciences locally in Manchester as the subject was not for me. At both universities, I have achieved highly so far (1st class degree)
This varied academic background has given me a strong foundation in all of the Natural Sciences (Maths, Chemistry & Biology and to some extent Physics). All of these subjects genuinely interest me and I would be more than willing to help a student out in either of them!
- How much do you charge?
Mathematics (any level) - £20/hour
Chemistry (any level) - £20/hour
Biology (any level) - £15/hour
I prefer to teach in small groups of 2-4 students and do offer group discounts depending on the number of students.
- Where do you teach?
At the University of Salford/City Centre on several days a week (contact me for exact details)
Or of course, within a short radius of my own house (2-3 miles)

And depending on where you wish to have the session, most days/evening during the week

- Do you have a personal message for students?
Just get in touch with whatever you need help in, no matter how small or big it is.
And I'll do my best to help you out in one way or the other! If not via teaching personally, then with some advice.
- What kind of experience do you have?
Taught extensively at GCSE/A-level at all of my previous schools. This was as a part-time tutor for under-achieving students after school and during some lunch breaks.
As well as often helping out class mates unofficially; I have tutored several students at my university up to A2/Undergraduate level in Chemistry & Biology helping them to achieve the highest possible marks in the their exams. So far it has been an enjoyable experience!
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
- Tell me about some of your current students.
