I think the most important is to listening to the need of the students and adapt your work. Be able to interact with the “real” world is the more effective and efficient way to work: using newspapers, tv program...But the most important is to dare to make mistake. I think there is nothing more frustrating for somebody men who is learning a language to tell him/her every 5 seconds which mistake he/she made.
