I find that the best teaching technique is maintaining a focus on the interests of the student and finding ways to incorporate those into the lesson. Additionally I believe in being fully flexible and coming up with creative solutions: if something isn’t working, let’s change it and do something that is working!
I am a Law graduate who grew up in France and sat French exams (Brevet des Collèges, Baccalauréat Français and concours national de français). I have previously taught young children English as a foreign language so have experience in this field and am eager to help those seeking to improve their grasp on the French language.
Naomi was educated in France from the age of 6 and is not just fluent in the language but completely understands the culture of the French so can also explain easily why certain formalities are obligatory etc. She has acted as a welfare officer at Cambridge University and has DBS clearance and a first aid certificate so is ideally suited to tutor young people.
Naomi is incredibly patient and kind with her teaching. She is understanding of the challenges involved in learning a language so can relate to any difficulties you might have along the way, and is extremely knowledgeable of real life, practical French at the same time!
