I usually ask the pupil questions so I can assess the level of knowledge, then proceed with the new tasks. When explaining something, I tend to use analogies and visual aids. I approach each pupil individually, so I can properly address their needs
I am a third year Biochemistry student and I have been tutoring since I was in 8th grade. Obviously, it wasn't something professional, but the people I helped showed significant improvement. I might not have all the knowledge in the world, but what I am good at is making the pupils understand the logic behind a problem so that they would be able to remember information much easier rather than just memorizing it.
