Learning by understanding, rather than by rote, is the best way to go. Diagrams and flow charts allow me to clearly paint a picture of the processes and pathways you need to learn. Applying what you have learnt in our lessons is a key part of my teaching.
I have a BSc in Biochemistry (2:1) from the University of Southampton and have started an MScR in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Bristol. I worked in a production laboratory in the year since my graduation. Now, I currently work as a Research Secretary part-time for the University and also demonstrate in Undergraduate practicals during term time.
MScR Cellular and Molecular Medicine student with experience demonstrating in undergraduate practicals. My personal interests include infection and immunity (especially virology), and pharmacology. I like to teach by doing, not by rote. This is by answering questions, making diagrams, applying your knowledge to an unseen topic.
