Biology tutor with a Masters degree with Distinction in Marine Sciences based in Edinburgh
Methodology
I use flash cards to improve word association and boost memory as Biology is full of words to memorise. Then to provide perspective I utilise mind maps to give the student an idea of how the concepts connect and interact.
Experience
I volunteered as an Adult Leader with the Brownies (7-10yr) and Rainbows (5-7yr) for 8 years. I organised activities and have been responsible for running pack holidays and joint events. From this experience I have learnt how to engage children and inspire them.
