I teach using different learning techniques like mind mapping, filling the blanks, visualising the concept, videos, past papers, creating own questions, creating a story, etc.
I plan lessons and tailor resources according to student’s needs.
As a tutor, I am a very flexible and easy-going person. I am capable of creating a friendly environment where respect, motivation, and self-determination is essential for achieving the desired goals. I use different learning techniques to help students gain the most, for example, making use of mind maps, creating own questions and understanding a complicated concept in a story format.
I aspire to be a part of such a field that supports others and positively transforming lives. Moving from Pakistan to England has played an important role in developing multicultural awareness in me and experienced two different education systems. I volunteered as a Biology and Chemistry tutor, in 2019, and my student got A*s in both subjects. I have also been a mentor at university, for a year. These experiences have taught me the importance of being a role model. I have learned to grasp the situation, communicate in simple language, make students comfortable, and build up their confidence. I listen, provide guidance, and make students believe that they can contact me for any help.
My rates are the same for any age group students.
If needed, the lesson needs to be canceled 24hrs before the lesson time, otherwise, it will not be refunded.

Iqra is well-informed and well-read about the subject she teaches. She has good teaching skills.
Really recommend Iqra as a biology tutor. I had met her through The Access Project from my school. She has helped me understand challenging content and develop new skills of learning the specification during GCSE which i still use today in A-Level. Although I did not spend many months with this tutor, my grades had improved tremendously. By the end I had achieved an A*, and that was mainly due to the support I had received from Iqra.
Iqra is an amazing outgoing and sociable person who takes pride in everything she does. She has an amazing personality, a high level of understanding and is always willing to help others. Her caring nature makes it so easy for anyone to learn and achieve their maximum potential through her style of teaching.
