I focus on understanding what your current level is and how best you like to learn so that we can come up with a method that is effective for you since everyone is different. I make sure there is a good balance between understanding the content and knowing how to approach the examination.
I currently am in my 2nd year at King's College London studying Biomedical ScienceI. I achieved a high 2:1 last year. I can offer lessons to first year's in Biomed who are struggling or to gap year students who want a headstart. I achieved A*AAa at A Level in Art, Biology, Chemistry and Maths and can help A-Level students achieve the grade they need for university. I also can help with UCAS applications and the process for those wanting to apply for medicine (I had high UKcat and BMAT scores and received an offer from Brighton and Sussex Medical school). I achieved 9A*s and 4A's at GCSE and thus can help GCSE students in the sciences, maths, english, geography, latin and more. I also am a professional singer with 6 years singing experience in a professional cathedral choir and achieved a merit in Grade 5 singing and Grade 5 music theory. I have been giving beginners and intermediates singing lessons for 4 years now and can teach classical, operatic, contemporary and even pop, rnb and hiphop styles if you desire. I am a talented artist and have also been providing drawing and painting lessons for the last 2 years, greatly improving the skills of my students. I can teach all the techniques but I personally specialise in oil painting, portraiture and pencil drawing.
I am a hard working university student, currently studying Biomedical Sciences at King’s College London as I am fascinated by science, particularly nutrition, endocrinology and microbiology, and hope to one day work in research where I can make discoveries that save lives. I have a creative mind, putting a lot of my energy into my hobbies such as painting, playing the guitar and creating makeup tutorials for my youtube channel. I enjoy being active and spend a lot of time outdoors, going for long walks or jogs and appreciating the beauty of the world around me. Naturally optimistic and outgoing, I work well in teams as demonstrated by my past jobs as a customer assistant, a volunteer, the 5 years I spent as a chorister at Rochester Cathedral. I have also achieved both the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

I spent a year working as a private tutor, teaching year 6 students Maths, English and Verbal Reasoning in preparation for their 11 plus exams.

I worked a summer at the BP Petrol station at a Moto Service Station where I was responsible for serving customers in the store using the till, stocking shelves and carrying out stock counts, monitoring the forecourts and keeping the site clean and safe for customers to use. The experience greatly improved my confidence, communication skills and ability to work under pressure as it times the role was high paced and I occasionally had to deal was difficult customers and individuals attempting to avoid paying.
VOLUNTEER, HEART OF KENT HOSPICE, KENT 2016-2017
I spent a year volunteering at The Heart of Kent Hospice, where I assisted the team of nurses in caring for sick and elderly patients. I was responsible for delivering their meals and often helped with feeding. I also greeted visitors and directed them to the rooms of those they came to see and dealt with telephone enquires amongst other administrative tasks.

I participated in a one week placement at one of London’s most popular private hospitals where I experienced what it takes to have a career as a medical professional.
CHORISTER, ROCHESTER CATHEDRAL GIL’S CHOIR 2011-2015
I sang in Rochester Cathedral for approximately 7 hrs a week when counting the rehearsals, services and concerts I performed as part of the choir, showcasing my dedication and love for music. In my final year I became head chorister giving me responsibilities for leading the choir and guiding the younger choristers. I also one the commitment award.
I have also volunteered at my local church, as well as volunteering on a week long medical mission to Nigeria where I helped in providing healthcare to some of Nigeria’s most destitute villages.
SKILLS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
I have strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills and have solid IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word. I have experience working tills, am decisive and can work effectively under pressure. I achieved Grade 5 in singing, flute and Music Theory and Grade 3 piano and both Bronze and Silver DofE.
