Biomedical Sciences student with an A in A level Biology. I can tutor biology up to A level (new specification) standards.
Methodology
I like to explain things in an informal manner, as I feel the student needs to understand the content before you add any extra terminology. I like to use past paper questions which I thoroughly mark and go through with advice on how to improve. Another good method is also calculation questions and alternative methods of getting the answers whilst still obeying the mark scheme.
Experience
I tutored a student in my second year of sixth form who went to achieve a C in As level biology (originally on track for an E). I have A levels in: Biology (A), Chemistry (B), Maths (C), and Film Studies (C). I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences (BSc) and have completed my first year of my degree
As well as this I’m currently tutoring four other students (one year 7, two year 10’s, and one year 11)
