Hi, I’m Pete, a chap dividing his days between Birkdale, sunny Alderwasley ( where we can witness pheasants from our classroom window - how rustic, is that?) and Donny for lots of GCSE poetry and prose and politics - who can ever tire of the constitutional crisis? Steady with the language now. Macbeth, IELTS ( there's always IELTS ), City and Guilds and the Weimar with Sheffield High students is always a pleasure. Yes, my day is certainly varied and involves much zigzagging across our grey Yorkshire city. Wednesday now possess a new manager, our country awaits a leader ( I said no more politics!) and my kitchen requires painting - a task I can put on hold indefinitely. But, hey, let's accentuate and positive: to new and familiar faces with their English, History, Politics, Drama and occasional Maths. I was asked last week about the canteen food. It really is not as bad as some folk say. How can you go wrong with fish and chips? Not too sure about the burgers, mind. Cheers, Pete.
