Methodology

I offer lessons that will focus on your personal goals and pace. If there is a song or style that really inspires you, we can work together to achieve your guitar dreams.

My lessons are for all age ranges and, given the current situation, I am arranging lessons via SKYPE or ZOOM. When the situation changes, I will return to in person lessons.

For less experienced players:
We will begin looking at chords and the theory behind them. Alongside this we will cover sight reading, learn to read rhythms and the notation on a stave. Developing basic strumming and picking techniques, through songs of your choice and lots lots more.

For intermediate/advanced players:
We will develop your music theory further with more advanced scales and chords, delve into more complex techniques like tapping and legato, and practice improvisation in your preferred styles (for example, blues, rock, disco/funk or indie).

Whatever your level, we will focus on developing your skills and the styles that excite you.
