Having being taught in many different settings with varying teaching methods, I would like to adapt what I have learnt to suit the needs of each student. Through explanations, drawing, (even dancing if I must), I want to help achieve the full potential of each student. With a background in science/biology, I find it fulfilling to help others understand the fundamentals of these subjects as I believe it governs all life. Teaching also keeps me in touch with the basics that have paved the way for my current studies and future career
My primary education was completed in South Africa, after which I completed an undergraduate BSc Biomedical Science in Nicosia, Cyprus. I am currently completing an MD (doctor of medicine) degree in the UK. I believe that being exposed to different education systems has given me better means to adapt to a range of students. I have previously taught as a fill-in biology teacher in South Africa for grades 10-11 (ages 16-17), and have participated (as both a trainer and trainee) in student-student teaching sessions run by the International Federation of Medical Student Associations
