I currently give lessons to 11+, GCSE and A-Level students however I am working on expanding my audience further.
I like to keep my lessons engaging with the following structure:
- Overview and explanation of a topic.
- Worked examples.
- I will set an independent question to the student(s) and will provide feedback during the lesson.
I achieved A* in GCSE and A Level Mathematics with A's in Physics. I then went onto to study BSc Mathematics and Physics at the University of Exeter, a high ranking Russell Group institute. I have completed a research project in cosmic ray muons which involved building my own muon detector from scratch. I am highly experienced in some of the following topics:
- Nuclear Physics
- Quantum Mechanics
- Waves and Optics
- Weather and Climate
- Global Warming
- Differential and Integral Equations
- Applied Mathematics
Please note I will need to charge for travel costs if you are further than 20km from me to prevent loss of earnings. This will be at the standard government rate of £0.45 per mile but it will only be applied to each mile over the 20km threshold.
