When I tutor, I often identify areas of strengths, areas that can be easily improved and lastly those that students find most difficult. I focus on those areas that can be easily improved first to build confidence in students' ability to improve, which allows us to gradually integrate into more difficult tasks and topics. I also ensure that students are still practising topics they are confident in to avoid forgetting.
I am a university student who has already had experience tutoring young people throughout my sixth form experience. I have already taught in small groups of up to six with students ranging from age 11 - 16. I have received a lot of positive feedback from past students who returned once completing their exams and thanked me for the help they received.
